Reverse-proxy with nginx on a Mikrotik Router

Besides using Wireguard, a reverse-proxy is a nice and user-friendly way of exposing services from the Homelab. In my third generation Homelab I will use Mikrotik Containers to host my DMZ reverse proxy based on nginx to allow secure access to Immich.

Vor wenigen Wochen hat das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt die neue i-Kfz-App vorgestellt, mit der es „Bürokratie abbauen“ will. Neben einem digitalen Fahrzeugschein soll perspektivisch auch ein digitaler Führerschein in der App integriert werden. Das Sicherheitskonzept lässt hier aber leider zu wünschen übrig.
